Sunday 1 March 2015

Welcome to March!

Today Sunday 1st March represents a couple of things for me. On a personal level I am celebrating 23 years with my fabulous photographer :) This year it also means I am now only 2 weeks away from my Silverstone Marathon, cannot wait! As its so close I can't think of anything else and am feeling excited and can't get enough of running. I am feeling fit and happy. Also I made an amazing online discovery a few days ago in the shape of The Runner Academy. This website is such a lucky find and my favourite part is the podcasts. Such inspirational stories and the best advice for runners of all levels and ages. Do check it out. I'm sure you will love it too. I'm having fun but got alot of catching up to do

Of course by now I have my info pack from Silverstone and can tell you my race number is 7819. If you want to sponsor me for a wonderful cause which helps HIV kids all over the world with their education and healthcare, and also HIV+ mothers too, just drop me a line. All currencies welcome and no amount is too small. My email address is: Minty38@googlemail.com.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and Starfish do too

Have a great day,

Sarah xxx

  1. Hello Sarah. So good to know you through your profile on the blogger and the blog post. I am glad to stop by your blog post and know the cause you are running a race for raising funds for the welfare of the HIV / AIDS kids through out the globe. I am from Mumbai, India and have been in the Pastoral ministry for last 35yrs in this grewat city of Mumbai a city with great contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live and where the AIDS is rampent. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the broken hearted. We also have a program of AIDS Awareness and we do take care of such people in the slums of Mumbai. I will be so happy if any such help is available to seek the welfare of such people and their kids. We also encourage young people like you and the adults from the West to come to Mumbai to work with us in the slums of Mumbai during their vacation time. In the past many young people from England came to MUMBAI to work with the churches through Oasis and Interserve Organisations. We would love to have you come with your friends to work with us during your vacation time. I am sure you will have a life changing experience. My email id is: dhwankhede(at)gmail(dot)com and my name is Diwakar Wankhede. Looking forward to hear from you very soon. God's richest blessings on you.

  3. Hi Diwakar,
Thank you for your kind words and considering me a young person. The organisation I support does do some work in Mumbai. They have a long distance adoption programme. Please visit their website http://www.rutgerhauer.org/rutgerhauer.org/index.php and contact them directly. Have you contacted directly, other organisations too. Thank you so much for leaving a message. Warm regards, Sarah
